Advocacy

FHFNOLA has education advocates who advocate for children to be educated in the least restrictive environment. The advocates provide workshops, presentations, and one-on-one support.

Education Advocates

Education advocates provide workshops to keep families informed of their education rights and responsibilities under law, attend IEP meeting to support the family, provide support in navigating the education system, and help families troubleshoot school related issues.

Transition Advocates

Trains, educates, and empowers families and professionals to develop Individualized Transition Plans.
